01/11/08 - Added a research paper in the "Expert Science" section that elucidates a mechanism by which fluoridation chemicals promote elution of lead (Pb) from plumbing. This is a companion study to the one posted above it. link (item #5 on the page)

01/11/08 - Provided a rebuttal to another misleading claim of the pro-fluoride Manila campaigners. The claim that fluoridation is cost effective is given a lengthy response in the Manila Election 2008 section. link (claim #2 on the page)

01/11/08 - Added an expanded version of the Manila Ballot arguments with citations and annotations that couldn't be included on the official ballot due to official space limitations (300 word limit). This document will be expanded in upcoming versions to include references and explanations for the rebuttal sections. 01/08/08 - Started a new section "Manila Election 2008," in order to respond to misleading claims by pro-fluoride campaigners in Manila. The first claim to be debunked is that Consumer Reports endorses fluoridation. link
